This leverages the long-term data-preservation capabilities of established optical media and combines the benefits of next-generation magnetic media, such as fast online access to data. The replication of data to Centurion DiscHub ensures companies have a fully synchronized copy of their file system contents and audit history. MagnaStor also "self repairs" any files at risk of being lost to disk failure by automatically rebuilding them from the Centurion DiscHub optical library.
