Optical Image Technology Ramps Up Support And Services

Staff Added to Key Departments as Company Continues to Grow

Optical Image Technology (OIT) welcomes new staff to its team as the company continues along its structured growth plan. Ramping up the support and professional services departments, OIT has recently hired Paul Fochler, Andrew Mast, and Ric Wilburn.

As stated by company president, Scott Buchart, "OIT continues its commitment to its 'customers first' policy by expanding staff in the support and professional services divisions of the company. As OIT continues on its growth path, we will strive to strengthen these and other areas, in order to provide the best service that we can, which we know our customers deserve."

Bringing over five years of document management software experience from the financial sector, Paul Fochler was hired for the position of Project Manager in the Professional Services Department. In this newly created position, Fochler oversees customer implementations and integrations of DocFinity® software. Fochler is responsible for managing project plans and deploying the necessary team resources to complete customer projects. His role as liaison between OIT customers and the company's technical team ensures that the customers' expectations are met. "I hope to build on the success of the OIT team by understanding our customers' goals and exceeding their expectations," states Fochler, who holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and is skilled as an Optima/Onbase System Administrator. Fochler comes to OIT from S&T Bank, where he was Assistant Vice President of the Data Management Department.

Andrew Mast and Ric Wilburn have joined the technical support team, both bringing a cache of technical skills to the company. Mast joins OIT with a vast knowledge of various operating and network systems, and is fluent with coding languages such as Java, HTML, Flash/ActionScript, and SQL for database software. He was IT Director and Database/Web Administrator for Affinity Connection, Inc., where he managed over 200 client databases and served as the liaison on technical matters for new and existing projects for the company. Prior to joining OIT, he served as Network Operations Engineer for NTT/Verio in Springfield, Virginia. "I have a personal philosophy that quality technical support and customer service are equally important to success in this market. I'm looking forward to continuing to apply this philosophy with OIT and helping to keep customer satisfaction where it belongs?consistently at the highest attainable level."

Also joining OIT as a technical support representative is Ric Wilburn. Wilburn is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University where he earned a degree in industrial engineering. He is experienced in designing and coding automated custom software using Visual Basic, VB Script and C++. As a computer specialist for L. Robert Kimball & Associates in State College, Pennsylvania, he supported a Citrix MetaFrame environment which operated across local and remote locations as well as managed data storage and project workflow servers. As an undergraduate at Penn State, Wilburn managed his own IT solutions company, Centre Computing Solutions, where he was outsourced to maintain and create IT solutions for both local business and personal computers. Wilburn states, "At OIT, I have the opportunity to use my talents and knowledge in computer solutions for the benefit of the DocFinity customers."
